"You are totally swingin, and the whole package - great pitch and feel and sound!" Gordon Goodwin, saxophonist/pianist Grammy-winning composer/arranger of The Big Phat Band
"…Jamie Davis another of those extremely polished singers who are beginning to appear again…" Stanley Crouch
“Davis’ dark, dense ‘Round Midnight’ rivals Eckstine’s silken splendor. Most impressively,
he manages to elevate Lionel Richie’s ‘Hello’ to the same lofty plateau.” Jazz Times, Christopher Loudon
“One of my favourite singers of old fashioned blues is Jamie Davis. He not only has a great voice
but is a lovely guy as well. I first really became a fan when I worked with him at the 2007 Cheltenham Jazz Festival. Since then I had him on my talk show and interviewed him on the radio. He is an extremely nice bloke and a pleasure to work with. If you see his albums buy them.” Sir Michael Parkinson
